MOGA’s iOS 7 controller hasn’t been out all that long, but the company is dropping the price of admission as more games are arriving in the App Store.
Originally set at some $99.99 USD, MOGA’s Ace Power iPhone controller has seen a pretty hefty drop down to $79.99 USD in both Apple stores and third-party retailers. The move comes as more games are starting to show up in the App store. MOGA says that between iOS 7 and Android, over 120 games are now controller-compatible including iOS titles like “Grand Theft Auto San Andreas, Oceanhorn, Limbo, Final Fantasy III, Worms 3, Rayman; Fiesta Run, The Bard’s Tale and Tomb Raider I”.
It’s also worth noting that, if you are in the market for an Apple controller for your phone, that number is only going to go up. It might not happen overnight, but as developers and gamers alike become more at home with controller-enabled games on iOS 7 devices, you’re going to see support for devices like the MOGA Ace Power become a lot more commonplace. And personally, I have one and the little guy works just as you might expect any controller for any other gaming console to. Also pretty nice is that it sports the dual-analog sticks, something that some controllers on the shelves lack at this point.
The MOGA Ace Power is available right now for iPhones supporting the iOS 7 operating system right now for the aforementioned $79.99 USD.
