Konami’s Castlevania: Lords of Shadows 2 gets a symphony

The capper to the Lords of Shadow saga has the biggest orchestra to ever contribute a soundtrack to a video game and was recorded at the legendary Abbey Road.

Easily one of the most anticipated games of this early year, Konami and developer MercurySteam’s Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 looks like a five-star production all around. And with an orchestral soundtrack composed by Oscar Araujo, it looks like it’s going to sound as good as it looks.

Araujo’s music for the game actually took weeks to put together and the composer crafted the tone of it to frame the internal conflict that Gabriel goes through throughout the game. It won’t be too much longer now till fans can sink their fans into the last go-around for this reinvention of the franchise either as the game is due for the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC on February 25th.
