Aric is still without his armor and locked away by his ‘rescuers’. All seems lost for the Visigoth King, but then Aric always seems to have a ace up his sleeve.
Valiant is proud to present an advance preview of X-O Manowar #21 by New York Times best-selling writer Robert Venditti and red-hot artists Cary Nord, Vicente Cifuentes and Trevor Hairsine! In the aftermath of Unity #3, the X-O Manowar armor has found a new bearer… Now find out what terrible punishment awaits its former host, Aric of Dacia…prisoner of war!
Stripped of the X-O Manowar armor, Aric of Dacia has been imprisoned and interrogated at an off-the-grid black site. But what knowledge could the governments of the world want from a man who has journeyed 1,600 years to the present? A man who liberated an alien planet? A man who once wielded the most powerful weapon in existence? What knowledge could they want, you ask? All of it. And the agents of Unity will extract every one of Aric of Dacia’s secrets by any means necessary.
Separated from the universe’s most powerful weapon, can the Visigoth warrior that led the world to war still pose a formidable threat? Find out on January 22nd when Unity exacts its revenge on the man at the epicenter of the winter’s blockbuster comic book event, only in X-O Manowar #21!
With the opening arc to Unity coming to a close, things are really going to be ramping up into the big events Valiant has planned for 2014. X-O of course, is probably going to figure into those plans in a very big way.
We already know that he and Unity aren’t done with each other from some other previews that we’ve published right here on BG and it definitely looks like Toyo Harada, a key member of Unity’s founding roster, is going to be finding himself on the short end of the stick very soon as goes the super-team. I don’t know how easy Aric and the remaining members of Unity will be getting along any time soon, but to count the armor-wielding badass out as a force on Unity would probably be a mistake.
Unity’s opening act keeps on rolling through X-O Manowar #21 by Robert Venditti, Cary Nord, Vincente Cifuentes and Trevor Hairsine. You can grab a copy when it lands on the racks next week, on January 22nd.
