The un-dynamic duo end up working for some not-so-great people as the In Security story arc rolls on.
After landing a big promotion as Magnum Security’s first on-staff superhero, Quantum has been sent on one-man suicide mission into a separatist stronghold – at least, it was one-man suicide mission until Woody decided to play tagalong. But even if they manage to make it out alive, it only means that things are about to worse – a whole lot worse – for our dyadic duo. (And their little goat too.)
One of comics’ most irreverent and just plain fun books, Quantum and Woody has been on a tear as of late. With their first arc all wrapped up in a violent, potentially world ending bow, the ‘brothers’ find themselves in need of something more stable than the daily grind of taking down secret societies bent on world domination.
So of course, they break into the security field. And of course, they make a mess out of things as their new job has them carrying out “the ideals of a multi-billion-dollar private security corporation”. Same old Q&W.
Check out the super-powered shenanigans when Quantum and Woody #6 blasts onto store racks on December 4th from the creative team of James Asmus and Ming Doyle.
