Daedalic goes criminal for Blackguard dev diary

The studio, known for their light-hearted adventure games, gets grim and gritty for Blackguards.

I’m usually not one for turn-based RPG’s (or strategy titles for that matter), but Blackguards looks absolutely gorgeous. Daedalic put some extra effort into the looks of this one and it definitely shows with some impressive character models and levels.

If you’d like to start plunging the depths of the dark fantasy universe that is The Dark Eye and Blackguards, you can actually get a decent jump on things by heading over to Steam’s Early Access page for the game right now. There you can buy into the game before it hits in all its finished glory this January for a lesser price tag. Of course, you’ll have to share your thoughts on the game with the developers for the discount, but that kind of sounds more like a perk than anything else to be honest.

About Jason Micciche

Jason's been knee deep in videogames since he was but a lad. Cutting his teeth on the pixely glory that was the Atari 2600, he's been hack'n'slashing and shoot'em'uping ever since. Mainly an FPS and action guy, Jason enjoys the occasional well crafted title from every genre.
