New art and screens released for Baldur’s Gate II: Enhanced Edition

Beamdog and Overhaul Games have released a brand new look at the remade Baldur’s Gate II including a piece of concept artwork for the newest playable character Hexxat.

It’s been a while since gamers have plumbed the depths of Baldur’s Gate II. The action/RPG released way back in 2000 and was every bit the mega-hit that the first game in the series was for PC fans. Overhaul Games’ version of the title isn’t so much a remake as it is an updating with some pretty new HD looks.

New graphical options and even a new quest and character are all in the Enhanced Edition to give both new and old players a taste of something fresh in the intricately designed world of Dungeons & Dragons that is Baldur’s Gate. Today, we’ve got a new dozen screens for your perusal as well as a piece of concept art of the new character Hexxat.

There’s also a brand new piece of music from the game that you can have a listen to to hear how some of the newly added atmosphere will sound when you boot the game up. Just when you’ll be able to do that is rapidly approaching too as Baldur’s Gate II: Enhanced Edition is set to arrive on the PC on November 15th.
