MadCatz ships Kunai headsets for Wii U

MadCatz is expanding its Tritton Kunai line of headsets to Nintendo’s newest, complete with chat functionality.

Much like the Playstation version of the Kunai that recently hit the market, this Nintendo-centric edition will feature both Wii U and 3DS compatibility. The headset will also carry over much of what you’d expect to get from a Tritton branded set of cans.

The Kunai will be available on (glossy) white, black, and red. It’ll also feature a pair of 40mm neodymium speakers and a removable mic for chat. Yep, even though Nintendo isn’t totally sold on that whole crazy ‘play and talk’ thing , MadCatz has you covered either way.

Actually, one of the coolest things about the Kunai line is that the mic snaps off allowing the headset to be used purely for listening without having to worry about the boom falling forward and smacking you in the face.

We recently took a look at the PlayStation version of the Kunai and found it to be a fantastic headset for the price. If you’d like in on the Nintendo version,it’ll be on store shelves very soon.
