The latest developer diary is out for Titan Quest II, and it sheds more light on some of the creatures that you’ll be facing.
It was a time of myth and legend…
If you don’t know, there’s a sequel not eh horizon for the Greek myth-powered Titan Quest. This new game is going to be significantly different than the aRPG that genre fans got years back however, and will present a more tactical take on its real-time action. Simply put, you’re going to have to strategize to take down Titan Quest II’s bestiary as you quest against Nemesis, the Goddess of Retribution.
Until this week though, we’ve not really gotten a good look at what creatures and monsters will feature in said adventure. Thanks to the latest in the series of dev diaries, we’ve now got a close look at two of the meanest; the Gryphon and the Hippokampi.
Combat is an integral aspect of every ARPG, and Titan Quest II is no exception. It’s not just how you fight that matters, but also who or what you’re fighting against. Thanks to Titan Quest II’s special setting in ancient times, the game draws inspiration from Greek and other ancient mythologies. This allows for a wide variety of wild and weird beasts to challenge players.
