Gamescom 23: Flashback 2 gets a fresh trailer, loaded with action, intrigue, and jet bikes

Okay so it’s only a tease, but it does look like Flashback 2 will be getting its motor running with some high-speed conveyance.

Head out on the highway

Continuing to look like a side-scrolling action game to watch, Microids and series’ creator Paul Cuisset’s Flashback 2 is shaping up nicely indeed. The title has a brand new trailer that debuted at the currently open Gamescom show, and it teases an unexpected addition.

Aside from various biomes to play through and a heavy dose of the gunplay that fans can expect, a vehicular section was shown off too. Now, as mentioned, this is more or less just a brief glimpse of what could be in the final game, but it does look like Conrad B. Hart will be riding some jet/hover bikes through Flashback 2’s dystopia streets.

In the 22nd century, the United Worlds extends throughout the Solar System, but this tranquillity is threatened by the Morph invasion led by the fearsome General Lazarus. In search of his lifelong friend Ian, Conrad B. Hart dives once again into an action-packed adventure full of twists, turns and revelations with the help of his allies and AI-powered weapon A.I.S.H.A.

MIcroids press release

Inbound for a November 16th digital launch, and December 5th physical retail box, Flashback 2 is on the way for Xbox and PlayStation platforms, and the Nintendo Switch.
