Fresh from the Disney+ TV series of the same name, comes Hot Toys’ adaptation of the MCU’s Moon Knight. Here’s Sideshow’s unboxing.
When the moon rises high
Fairly well-recieved by fans, Moon Knight starred actor Oscar Isaac in the title role of the Egyptian-themed hero. Isaac’s Moon Knight had the alter-ego of Marc Spector, but as in the modern comics also had a twisted mental state. And that resulted in multiple personalities, one of which even had a separate superhero ID of its own.
For Hot Toys’ adaptation though, you can forget about Mr. Knight. The toy-maker has gone with the full Moon Knight guise for its first offering from the show, complete with an impressive stand, light-up eyes, and a series of accessories.
Here’s a full look at the figure, by way of one of retailing-partner Sideshow Toys’ patented unboxings:
The Moon Knight 1/6 Scale Figure by Hot Toys features a new, hand-painted headsculpt with LED light-up eyes. The figure is wrapped in intricately detailed sculpted bandages with a costume consisting of armor, sculpted boots, and a fabric belt with sash. He also wears a fabric cape covered with ancient symbols, which has wire in the hem to allow for dramatic poses.
Moon Knight comes with eight of his signature crescent blades in a variety of sizes, and an eye-catching crescent moon backdrop.
Sideshow Toys press release
As usual with these unboxings, the spotlighted figure is still very much available for pre-order from Sideshow. If you want one, he’s available via the above link, and is priced in at $285 USD. Moon Knight is expected to ship some time before the end of the year.
