Talisman: Digital Edition hits the Nintendo Switch

The digital translation of the popular Talisman board game has made the leap to Nintendo Switch. The Digital Edition is available now.

If you’re a Games Workshop fan of any age, you’ve probably at the very least heard of Talisman. The board game is a pretty popular one, and is currently on its 4th edition.

That goes for Nomad Games’ digital version as well, which is now landing on the Nintendo Switch. Talisman: Digital Edition is up to date with those 4th edition rules, and comes fully loaded with extras and cross-platform multiplayer.

In Talisman, players embark on an epic quest through a land full of dangerous enemies and treacherous challenges. Players level up and increase their skills as they race against other players towards the center of the board in order to claim victory. Based on the Revised 4th Edition published by Games Workshop, Talisman: Digital Edition on Switch features online and local multiplayer for up to 6 players and cross-platform play across Switch, PC and mobile.

Nomad Games have also bundled the Switch version of Talisman: Digital Edition with three fan-favourite expansions for free: The City, The Sacred Pool and The Frostmarch. These expansions offer new characters, mechanics and cards to encounter, and showcase the extra depth that can be added to Talisman through its many expansions.

In addition to all of that, the game will have multiple extras to buy. Those include Complete Expansions, Complete Characters, and Ultimate bundle deals. The latter of those will include everything available, FYI.
