Good news for those waiting on the return of Wild Guns to a Nintendo console. The Switch version of the game is prepped to blast onto the console this month.
Wild
I’ve said this in a past article about this game, but it’s worth repeating that Wild Guns (the original) is one of the rarer SNES titles out there. The game sort of flew under the radar back in the 90s and now it’s worth a good deal of cash. So, it’s not all that easy to get ahold of a copy, if you should actually want to play it.
This new title is pretty much the original, but throws in some nice extras too.
“Over 20 years ago, we released Wild Guns for the Super NES and it has been a special title for us ever since. We are excited to bring the steampunk Western shooter to a new generation as it returns to Nintendo this April,” said Hiro Maekawa, President and CEO at Natsume. “We are offering our experienced players Boss Rush: Time Attack and introducing new players to the play style with Beginner Mode as we fulfill our mission to ‘Make Everyone Happy’.”
And if you’ve been looking forward to finally being about to dive into Wild Guns (or revisit it), then you’ll be happy to know that it’s on the way to retail on April 17th. Can’t wait? Then you can lock up your copy by pre-ordering one right now at GameStop.
