One of the more hotly anticipated games for the Xbox One, ReCore will get the full art book treatment.
No rookies at the crafting of quality art books, Dark Horse now adds another to the list. The Art of ReCore will detail Keiji Inafune and Armature Studio’s work on the game.
A post-apocalyptic adventure, gamers play as Joule in the game, one of the last humans on Earth. And since she’s more or less alone, her friends and foes are more metal and wires than flesh and blood.
Robots of all kinds will be the focus in ReCore’s dusty world. Overall it actually sounds pretty unique. Apocalyptic settings may have been used to death, but making robots a main element is somewhat different.
In addition to page after page of art pertaining to those bots and their crumbling, ruin of a world, The Art of ReCore will have commentary from Inafune and others. The book will run a total of 112 pages and be presented in hardcover format when it hits this Autumn.
As for the game itself, you can look for that on the Xbox One and PC (as one of the first ‘Play Anywhere’ games) this September the 13th.
