The first issue of Udon’s Final Fight comic goes free, as issue two hits stores

If you missed it, Capcom’s Final Fight has joined Street Fighter over at publisher Udon, and you can dive in for free right now.

Garbage can chicken for all!

So we kind of missed the news that Final Fight had been picked up by Udon, a publisher who’s well known for its prolific work with Capcom’s Street Fighter. That is the case though, with Matt Moylan and Matthew Weldon’s issue #1 having been dropped in August, and issue two arriving this very week.

Now, if you’re like us and you haven’t read that inaugural installment, you’re in for a treat. That’s because Udon has made Final Fight’s first ever solo comic book issue absolutely free to read. And as long as you don’t mind a digital copy, you can grab one right now.

The process to get yours is painfully easy too. All fans need to do is head to Udon’s online shop (here), add the PDF for Final Fight #1 to their cart, and check out. Do that, and you’ll see the price of the title comes to a grand total of $0.00.

Again too, if you like what you see, Final Fight #2 debuts this Wednesday. It looks like the heroes from Metro City will have their work cut out for them too, with the arrival of a certain crooked cop that fans of the game will instantly recognize.

The Metro City brawl continues! Retired wrestler Mayor Mike Haggar reenters the ring, forced into an underground wrestling match engineered by the Mad Gear Gang! Meanwhile Cody and Guy find themselves face-to-face with the long corrupt arm of the law! Bring extra quarters to keep the never-ending knife-throwing, sword-slashing, and pipe-swinging action going!
