SpellForce: Conquest of Eo gets a dreamy new expansion this month with “Weaver’s Realm”

SpellForce’s turn-based spinoff is still growing, welcoming in the new Weaver’s Realm expansion later this month.

Spell it out

Debuting last year, SpellForce: Conquest of Eo was a 4x-ish spinoff to the long-lived, real-time strategy series. The game set players in the role of a mage who was out to dominate the land, but fans weren’t saddled with solely the overlords who were available at launch.

SpellForce: Conquest of Eo has been supported fairly well since its debut, with a series of expansions that’s still rolling. The latest, which is out this very month, is the magical Weaver’s Realm. It’s seems to be a pretty massive pack too, bringing in not just the new Dreamweaving school, but also a new hero, new enemies and minions, a “randomly generated campaign map”, and much more.

You have roamed the lands of Fiara and bested every challenge, master mage. You have come far, but your imagination is still so…limited. You have not yet pierced the veil to the worlds beyond. Thousands of realms and endless possibilities await those that master the weaving.

Learn to weave the magic of dreams to make them a reality, grant dreams to your faithful followers and minions, and empower them with your imagination or cast far-reaching spells, weaving your web over cities and regions.

But there are new adventures and new challengers to your might beyond the Circle – a grand portal promises new worlds to conquer, an evil army on the march threatens to overpower you, and the fight against a rival wizard may consume you. Will you dare face the new threats before you?

THQ Nordic press release

An add-on for the base game, SpellForce: Conquest of Eo – Weaver’s Realm is priced in at $14.99 USD, and will be out for the PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S versions of the game on September 22nd.
