SDCC ’24: WOW tags up with Pluto TV, for dedicated Women of Wrestling channel

Pretty big news broke this past weekend for WOW (Women of Wrestling), as the brand signed a deal with Pluto TV for its own channel.

Women are from Pluto… TV

Your favorite WOW Superheroes are going big, with their own channel by way of free (ad-supported) streaming service Pluto TV. Just revealed this past weekend at SDCC, the streaming platform will be bringing a full-on Women of Wrestling channel to life this fall, bringing the brand to a potentially massive number of fans.

WOW – Women of Wrestling’s co-founder and co-owner David McLane made the reveal, announcing that the channel would be debuting just in time for fans to check out the impending launch of season 3. But that deal won’t solely be bringing brand new content either, and those who’ve missed out on what’s come before will be happy to know that both existing seasons of WOW will be included on the channel as well.

Want even more? Well there’ll be a pair of documentaries too.

Just in time for season three, which is scheduled to launch in syndication the weekend of Sept. 14, fans can head to a dedicated WOW channel to watch their favorite WOW Superheroes hit the ring and catch up on all the drama, including intense rivalries, strong alliances and epic high-energy matches. Starting in time for season three, Pluto TV will have all episodes of WOW – WOMEN OF WRESTLING seasons one and two as well as season three once it launches in September, in addition to the documentaries THE ORIGIN OF WOW – WOMEN OF WRESTLING and MY ROAD TO WOW – THE SECRETS OF THE SUPERHEROES.

WOW – Women of Wrestling press release

There’s a whole lot of WOW on the way in short order, so make sure to check out the new channel on Pluto TV, debuting on September 14th.
