Session: Skate Sim heads to the schoolyard for fresh DLC

NACON and creā-ture Studios’ Session: Skate Sim is back with brand new content once again, this time it’s going Back to School.

Rock the bells

First launched in 2022, Session: Skate Sim has proved to be a pretty popular take on 90s era skateboarding. From humble beginnings, it’s ballooned its user-base up to some 1.5 million players globally, and has seen multiple content updates and DLC drops since initial arrival. Now it’s set to get yet another, with the Schoolyard.

The downloadable content pack delivers a new environment, based on a “archetypical US high school” with loads of spots to pull some slick tricks, plus a six pack of new objects. Those will be usable with the Object Dropper, ready for players to make use of.

Urban skateboarding aficionados who enjoy perfecting their tricks in the game’s various locations now have a new environment to discover, the “Schoolyard”, inspired by the archetypal US high school. The school offers a variety of spots for the skateboarders to enjoy, including stair rails, wooden benches, planters and lunch tables. There are also 6 new objects making their appearance in the Object Dropper, for players to customise the various spots on the map.

NACON press release

Session: Skate Sim is available for Xbox and PlayStation platforms, as well as the PC. The Schoolyard pack should be out right now, to add onto your copy of the base game.
