If you’re on PlayStation, you’re probably rocking Modern Warfare III’s demo already, but all platforms will be open tomorrow.
Semi-exclusive
Starting yesterday, the second beta test for Activision’s Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III is well underway, albeit exclusively on PlayStation platforms. That limited-period comes to an end tomorrow however, as the second playable preview/test opens to Xbox and PC fans.
One thing to keep in mind though, is that this continues to be a ‘closed beta’, meaning that only those who’ve pre-ordered the title will be able to gain access. And that’s true across all three platforms, not just the PS4/5 version.
And to celebrate this currently rolling beta, Activision has released a general look at the PC version of the final game, launching next month. As usual, the publisher knows how to make a trailer, and the FPS is looking pretty great. So hit ‘play’ below to check out what’s in store.
While the above is a general look at the title, the beta is all about the multiplayer. That started with a first round earlier this month, and continues into the one that’s currently active. Again too, that opens up for those playing on a PC and an Xbox console tomorrow, October 14th.
And if you played round one, you will find a few differences in round two. For one thing, the level cap is boosted to 30, which allows for a greater access to weaponry and equipment. Maybe even better than that, there’s a new map, delivering the Orlov Military Base in addition to the previously available “Highrise”. And as for playable modes, Search & Destroy is still there, but it’s joined by the new Cutthroat mode as well.
So if you’ve got that pre-order locked in, then get ready to download and enjoy some Modern Warfare III, 2023 style. Oh, and if you’re not on a PlayStation, why not click over to Activision’s official Call of Duty Blog and check out a ton more about beta: round two?
