The complete Babylon 5 series debuts on Blu-ray this December

For the very first time, the classic sci-fi series Babylon 5 is coming home on the Blu-ray format. The box set arrives this December.

It seems almost impossible that Babylon 5 hasn’t gotten the Blu-ray treatment yet, but somehow the classic 90s icon escaped the format. When you consider the amount of stuff that’s appeared on the high-def discs, that’s just weird.

Whatever the reason though, the drought is over, as the show will indeed be pressed and shipped in a neat little box set.

Babylon 5: The Complete Series will naturally include all the episodes of the series, but it’ll toss in the pilot movie as well, titled The Gathering. So it really is a complete look back at the ground-breaking show that it was.

Fans can expect to see it hitting stores this December, just in time for a little holiday season gifting (or getting). It’ll be priced in at $99.99 USD/$119.99 CAD.
