One of the most iconic of Batmobile designs, hailing from the Dark Knight trilogy, is coming up this fall from Hot Toys. Here’s a full look.
Does it come in black?
When you’re talking on-screen Batmobiles, the Tumbler is one of the most easily recognizable. The car, as featured in the “Dark Knight” trilogy of films from Christopher Nolan, shook up the usually sleek design of the car and basically made it into an agile tank.
And while there have been a number of attempts at making cool toys of the vehicle, Hot Toys’ version is… well it’s something else. Massive in size, at 1:6th scale, you can expect all the usual Hot Toys-detail for this one.
Expect a fully detailed cockpit, rotating wheels, and yes, lighting.
Inspired by Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight trilogy, Sideshow and Hot Toys present a stunning 1/6 scale collectible vehicle that can be paired with the Batman: The Dark Knight Rises figure (sold separately) to recreate the breathtaking action from these classic movies.
Sideshow Toys press release
The Tumbler is priced in at $630 USD, and is set to ship some time this fall. Of course, Hot Toys has a full selection of other Dark Knight stuff out to go with it too. Pre-orders are up on Sideshow Toys for Batman and Catwoman, and the Bat-Pod is actually shipping right now.
So maybe clear off a shelf. Or a table. Or something.
