Super7 announces wave 3 of GI Joe Ultimates! with Doc, Scarlett, Storm Shadow, and a Cobra Trooper

Three animated fan-favorite Joe characters and a much-desired troop builder round out wave 3 of Super7’s GI Joe Ultimates! figure line.

Yo Joe!

Wave 1 might not even be out yet, but Super7’s GI Joe Ultimates! figures are absolutely rocking and rolling. The latest series, just announced, is packed with three big time characters from the classic cartoon, plus a key troop builder.

That, of course, is a standard Cobra Trooper. As seen in pretty much all of the early Joe episodes, the Trooper comes loaded with weaponry and accessories. Want to have a shelf full of them? Well then you’ll be pleased to know that the figure comes packed with alternate parts to vary the soldier’s race. That way your display won’t look like a bunch of clones.

As for the rest, Doc, Storm Shadow, and Scarlett are all decked out in their iconic gear from the show. That level of detail goes right down to the accessories as well, with some reflecting specific episodes… and issues of the comic book.

While the emphasis for the line has been on the animated look, it does indeed seem that Super7 is starting to work in some nods to the classic Marvel title. Check out Storm Shadow’s accessories for a sniper rifle that might nudge the memories of a few longtime fans.

Priced at $54.99 USD each, all of the above are up for pre-order with our sponsors at Entertainment Earth right now. If you’d like to order from them, just hit the links above. That said, you can also find these figures at most other internet toy retailers, including direct from S7.
