From the depths of Eternia comes Tweeterhead’s Mer-Man maquette

Continuing the He-Man resurgence is statue company Tweeterhead, this time with Skeletor’s undersea goofball henchman Mer-Man.

*Gurgling noises*

Out of all of Skeletor’s evil warriors, Mer-Man might be one of the most… acquired tastes. It seems as though he’s not the biggest of fan-favorites, though he does keep getting included early on, when it comes to toy lines and collectible series’.

Case in point, Tweeterhead’s newly soft-rebooted lineup of Masters of the Universe statues. If you’ll remember, Tweeterhead had picked up the MOTU football and ran with it, producing a series of figures including Evil-Lynn and Orko. Then things went pretty quiet, though now we know why.

The company had been hard at work on several new pieces, including Teela and Mer-Man here. While Teela has been up for pre-order, Mer-Man is now just available an RSVP. If you don’t know, that comes courtesy of Sideshow Toys, and basically allows you to add interest in the statue before pre-release.

In addition to the above, the villainous Hordak is actually available now, as a part of the same line. So if you’re making a collection out of them, he should fit right in. And on top of all of that, there’s also a life-size bust of Skeletor, too. You can find that here.

The lord of destruction is set to ship out in spring of ’22, with Teela coming in a spring to summer timeframe (also 2022). There’s no date yet for Mer-Man, hence the RSVP list.
