Mad Tower Tycoon brings tower building/management back to consoles

It isn’t very day that a ‘tower builder’ gets released. Mad Tower Tycoon is just that though, focusing on skyscraper building and management.

Maven

Ever dreamed of building your own skyscraper and managing its contents? We’ll if you have, chances are that you’ve played some of the icons of this simulation mini-genre. There have been a few over the years, including the classic SimTower, Yoot Tower, and more recently Project Highrise.

Now you can add one more to the mix with Mad Tower Tycoon. As you might imagine, the new game from Toplitz Productions allows gamers to construct and manage their own building. These can start out small, but grow both above and below ground.

From the looks of the trailer, there’s a good deal to the game, including a bunch of elements that should be familiar to sim fans.

Aside from building your tower, Mad Tower Tycoon also offers some pretty deep management. Worrying about guests finding stairwells and elevators, keeping people entertained, and of course making sure you’re turning a profit are all in the game.

On top of all of that, there are random events as well. Anything from an earthquake to UFO abductions are possible, and you’ll have to deal with all of it as it happens.

Mad Tower Tycoon is available now for the Xbox One, PS4, and Nintendo Switch.
