In case you missed it, pre-orders have indeed gone live for Bandai Namco’s Little Nightmares II. The game hits consoles and PC this coming February.
Another nightmare
Yes, they’re coming back. The gigantic horrors that plagued the original Little Nightmares are returning for another chance to scare you out of your shoes.
The sequel focuses on Mono, a young boy who’s trapped in a world distorted by “the humming transmission of a distant Signal Tower.” He’s joined by Six, the familiar girl in the yellow raincoat. The two team up to traverse the terrible landscape laid out in front of them, and survive the giants.
As you can see in the trailer, Little Nightmares II is set to hit consoles and the PC on February 11th, 2021. Also as you can see, there will be next-gen editions as well, though later on in the year.
So with the launch not that far off, Bandai Namco has indeed set up pre-orders for all the current generation platforms. And pre-ordering does have a few incentives, including some exclusive DLC.
Players who pre-order Little Nightmares II will receive the TEKKEN-inspired Mokujin Mask headgear for protagonist Mono, a mask carved from a 2000-year-old tree. The mask charm will add visual flourish to Mono’s look, but its power won’t protect him from the horrors that await him in the Pale City. More information regarding digital pre-orders and editions will be available at a later date.
