Nightmare Before Christmas Advent Calendar coming up

Nightmare Before Christmas never seem to go out of style, and Insight Editions will be running with it this Holiday, with a pop-up Advent Calendar.

A good Christmas scare

Since its debut way back in 1993, Nightmare Before Christmas has pretty much gone on to change the Holiday’s pop culture landscape. Tim Burton’s claymation, stop-motion masterpiece has had toys, books, games, and now an Advent Calendar.

What better way to celebrate Christmas than with a little scare? Or maybe even 25.

As you can see above, the tree pops up right out of the book. All of the doors that you’ll open throughout Advent lie right below that. And also as you can see, each of those doors holds a NBX ‘ornament’ for that tree. Insight says that they run the gamut from “skeletal reindeer to a man-eating wreath”.

That however, is not all. Fans will also find a special 28 page, softcover guidebook. In those pages will be “fascinating facts about Halloween Town and its residents.” So there’s seemingly quite a bit to this one to dig into if you’re a big Nightmare fan.
