All dressed for a little fun in the sun, Pop Culture Shock’s new Street Fighter statue brings fan-favorite Chun-Li to life in two styles.
Fighting vacation
When you think about Capcom’s Street Fighter series, there are some characters that stand out, no matter the era. Ryu, Ken, Guile, Chun-Li… those are icons among icons, and are as evergreen as any other pop culture heroes.
So if you’re looking to pick up a higher end statue to celebrate your fandom, you’re probably going to go for one of those. Enter PCS (Pop Culture Shock) Collectibles and their Street Fighter lineup of statues. In particular, their new Chun-Li.
Clad in a variant costume and looking ready for a little fighting in the sand, the Interpol agent is featured here standing on the back of a swimming turtle. She stands in at an impressive 18″ tall too, so she should definitely make a statement in any super-fan’s collection.
As you can see, two different colors of this variant costume are up for pre-order, one in classic blue and one in red. There’s also a Sideshow Exclusive edition that comes complete with a matching 11×17″ art print, from artist Edwin Huang. All of the above is limited to just 250 pieces. So if you want one, it might be a good idea to lock in that pre-order now.
That’s something that you can do via Sideshow Toys. Chun-Li is set to ship out some time from May to August of next year (2021), and will run you $455 USD.
