What’s better than taking down Loki with a buddy? Co-operative play is coming to Rune II, the ragnarok-fueled, viking hack and slash.
The buddy system
The never-ending cycle of apocalypses in Run II seems like it will be a scary place, so why not take a pal along for support? You can tackle bad guys together, brave the icy waters of the north together, and… dance… together. Yes, there’s dancing in Human Head’s action epic Rune II. Sorry.
Okay so, aside from the dancing (which I realize there’s a market for), Rune II is looking pretty awesome. Everything else about the game seems like the kind of thing that action fans would gobble up, including the copious amounts of blood and gore.
The ability to band together with a friend is a great addition too. While engaging in combat with Loki’s minions alone should be a good time, it should be that much better with a pal. That way you’ll have someone there to bare witness to your path of carnage.
Engaging in said demon-slaughterfest will be possible sooner than later too. Rune II is fast approaching release day, with a November 12th launch on the calendar. For now though, the game is still a PC exclusive.
Actually, it’s kind of a double-exclusive. Eschewing Steam, Rune II will be only available on the Epic Games Store.
