Soul Calibur VI’s season 2 kicks off with Hilde

Another fighter joins the 6th Soul Calibur game’s roster with Hildegard von Krone. She also kicks off the 2nd season of the game’s expansion content.

Sixth Calibur

Originally debuting in Soul Calibur IV, Hilde looks to be a fast, and yet pretty devastating fighter. Her double pronged attack with spear and sword seem like they should make her pretty formidable.

Hildegard von Krone (Hilde) returns – as SOULCALIBUR VI’s Season Pass 2 DLC #8 offering – to battle for honor, duty, and to rebuild her homeland. Born into a noble family, Hilde exhibited an unusually sprightly demeanor as a child, a personality trait that will play a role in who she will become as an adult. As a princess of a small independent nation, she was expected to have both strength and wisdom within her as she defended her people against the predatory intentions of neighboring countries.

Thrust into the role of ruler of Wolfkrone at an early age, Hilde’s a strong sense of duty and love for her people and kingdom served as inspiration for her to take on all challengers. Wielding her short sword and spear, Hilde is always prepared to deal deadly blows to all who dare face her in the arena of battle.

Poor Nightmare…

Anyway, aside from just being new in general, Hilde brings in more custom creation parts too. Aside from that too, Hilde’s intro also kicks off Season 2 of Soul Calibur VI’s DLC.

This new season includes a few unknowns that have yet to be revealed too. Though we do know who’s coming up next. It’s a pretty slick crossover with Samurai Showdown’s Haohmaru. Fitting. Before we get to that little ‘event’ though, we have to get to Hilde. And as of now, there’s no release date for her.

As for the base game, that’s very much out right now. You can pick it up for the Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
