SDCC 19: Super7 nickelodeon license includes more than TMNT

Super7 is making a splash at SDCC with their limited edition set of TMNT figures, but their new nickelodeon license looks to include much more.

You’ve no doubt seen the incredibly cool Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles set from Super7. We ran a preview for it a few weeks back, and it’s still as neat as all get out now that it’s officially on sale. Of course, there’s only one place to get it, that being this week’s Comic Con.

What happens with the Turtles license after the show is still kind of an unknown. Super7 hasn’t mentioned anything, though I wouldn’t think that they’d let it go with just this extremely limited edition.

Also kind of interesting, is that they apparently have a much wider agreement with nickelodeon that previously thought. While we’ve see the Red & Stimpy figures, according to a Super7 press release, the company has rights to a serious all-star roster.

“Nickelodeon has been a  part of all of our childhood memories for so long, and has influenced Super7 creatively in many ways. The exclusive Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles ReAction Figures and Pizza Box are just the start of all the incredible Nickelodeon must haves to come,” said CEO Maigread Eitchen.

  • Spongebob Squarepants
  • Rugrats
  • Ren & Stimpy pre order currently available on www.super7.com
  • CatDog
  • Rocko’s Modern Life
  • Jimmy Neutron
  • Hey Arnold

Much like with the Turtles, exactly what’s happening with the rest of this is as of yet not detailed. Figures like the Red & Stimpy offerings might be in the works, or we could see 80s style, ReAction figures (like the Turtles), or a mix of the two.
