Check out Bethesda’s semi-live action trailer for Fallout 76

Ah friendship. In Fallout 76 it means exploring, fighting, and… sittin’ round the campfire? Something like that is going on anyway, in the game’s latest trailer.

Reclamation Day, 2102. Twenty-five years after the bombs fall, you and your fellow vault dwellers — chosen from the nation’s best and brightest — emerge into post-nuclear America. Play solo or join together as you explore, quest, build, and triumph against the wasteland’s greatest threats.

It’s better with a pal

If you somehow don’t know Fallout 76 is the first multiplayer-centric Fallout title. Kind of. I’ve heard that even with other players in your game, you don’t specifically have to interact with them. Though I’m not sure how true that might be. After all, even if you don’t feel like it, they might interact with you. Heck, you can even nuke each other.

With one BETA test already in the bag, 76 is on the way towards a followup. So if you did’t get the chance to play before launch, you have another stab at it. The latest test is set to kickoff this week, on October 30. It won’t be terribly long though, set to open at 7pm and close at 11pm, eastern time. Good news for pretty much everyone though, in that it’ll be available on the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. So no matter where you game, you’ll be able to try and get down on a little 76 before it hits.

That’s an event that’s right around the corner by the way. Fallout 76 lands at retail on November 14th.
