Excited for EA’s new multiplayer shooter Anthem? Then you might be interested to know that Dark Horse Comics has an art book incoming.
Artistic anthem
If you know Dark Horse’s art book line, then you already know that the publisher does an awesome job. DHC’s art books are usually loaded up with artwork and concept imagery, which is just what you want. Though, that’s along with plentiful notes and commentary. These books are not just pictures.
And it sounds like this book will be right in line with all of that. Created along with BioWare (the game’s developer), the book will offer a look at the totally fresh world created by BioWare.
The Art of Anthem showcases the grandeur and beauty of this dangerous new world. Filled with behind-the-scenes looks at the production of the game, original concept art, and exclusive commentary from the developers and Anthem Art Director Derek Watts, The Art of Anthem is a fantastic addition to any gamer fan’s bookshelf!
Watch for The Art of Anthem to hit shelves on February 26th, 2019. You can pre-order it either at Amazon or via your local comic shop.
While we’re talking about EA’s latest too, another thing prospective fans should keep an eye out for is the comic book. Also from Dark Horse, the comic appears to be an ongoing series, and has writers Mac Walters and Alexander Freed attached, along with artist Eduardo Francisco. No date yet on the debut of that just yet.
