Avengers: No Surrender teaser trailer emerges

It’s almost time for the next Avengers comic book epic from Marvel, No Surrender.

Co-written by Mark Waid, Al Ewing and Jim Zub with art by Pepe Larraz, Kim Jacinto and Paco Medina, AVENGERS: NO SURRENDER unites the casts and creative teams of three titles into one weekly book of exciting action. It all starts with AVENGERS #675 this January, when the teams of THE AVENGERS, UNCANNY AVENGERS, and U.S. AVENGERS come together in a story as exciting and powerful as the Marvel Universe itself.

Marvel has touted No Surrender as everything from an ending to a new beginning. So what is it really? Well from that trailer, we can tell that its explosive, with plenty of big moments, though the story is still more than a bit murky.

What we do know, is that the all-new Voyager looks to be a major character, who might mean a lot more to the Marvel comic book U than just an event-cameo. I’m not wild about the seemingly retconned nature of her, but that’s Marvel for you. Aside from her though, it certainly seems that this night be the biggest Avengers-specific crossover ever. So it’s kind of a big deal. And probably one not to be missed.

A weekly series, Avengers: No Surrender is poised to take comic shops by storm this coming January.
