The master of Capoeira lands in the upcoming Tekken sequel.
Lord of the fight-dance
Eddy Gordo’s connection to the Mishima Zaibatsu began when he pleaded with Jin Kazama to help treat the serious illness afflicting his Capoeira master. In return for the treatment, Eddy would wield his deadly skills at Jin’s command. Unfortunately for Eddy, not even the technology of the Mishima Zaibatsu could save Eddy’s master and he soon swore to take vengeance against the Mishima Zaibatsu led by Kazuya Mishima.
Who’d have thought that making a deal with anyone involved with the name Mishima would be a bad idea? Well, not Eddy obviously, but you know… it’s not a great idea. We’ll just leave it at that.
In any case, Eddy is officially in the anti-Mishima camp at this point in the series (not that I blame him). And that’s going to cause a problem for the baddies. He’s a fast, agile fighter who’s as dangerous as they come. And if I remember correctly, a pretty solid fighter for newbies to play, if they’re just picking up with the series.
A Tekken mainstay, Eddy joins the rest of the cast when the last days of the Mishima story play out in Tekken 7. Expect it on the Xbox One, PS4, and PC this June the 7th.
