The latest addition to Injustice 2’s roster is none other than the mistress of the sonic scream – Black Canary.
Canary’s Cry
Already impressive, Injustice 2 is really expanding its roster nicely. the game should have a pretty great spread of DCU heroes and villains, with the likes of Deadshot, Blue Beetle, Atrocitus, and now Black Canary.
As usual with the characters in this series, it looks like developer NetherRealm is doing a pretty great job with her too. Dinah has some slick moves, as well as her signature scream, which looks to factor into a lot of her attacks. I like the outfit too. It’s a nice cross between her classic duds and what we’ve come to expect from Injustice character designs.
Following up on the original, released a few years back, Injustice 2 picks up where that game left off. This time around, it’s not an evil Superman, but Brainiac that threatens an Earth that’s still picking up the pieces. Also new this time is that the roster will have access to special armor that can be tailored and reconfigured between matches.
Looking pretty sharp, Injustice 2 hits stores on May 16th, 2017. Expect it for the Xbox One and PS4. No announcement has been made as of yet for a PC version, but we’ll keep you in the loop if we hear of one.
