Simcity BuildIt gets futuristic with new update

The city of tomorrow has come to Simcity’s latest mobile incarnation.

Want to build a burgh with an eye towards the future? If so, then you’re going to love what’s in the new Simcity BuildIt update. The Omega Corporation has arrived for the mobile city-building title, and gamers can now look forward to “spectacular skywalks, aerial drones, data links, and more”. That’s not all though, as buildings themselves can now have a futuristic bent.

I’ve never played the mobile version of Simcity, but I have to say I’m intrigued by the scope. It looks like you can do a heck of a lot in BuildIt, with plenty of options. Definitely a game that’s worth at least a look if you’re a fan.

Here’s a complete look at what’s in the update:

• Building futuristic districts with new OMEGA Homes and Roads; 
• Providing each neighborhood with new high-tech Services, such as Drones and a ControlNet; 
• Researching and collecting OMEGA items with the  OMEGA Storage, Lab, and Research Center;
• Producing and collecting NeoSimoleons to purchase new items.

Available right now, both Simcity BuildIt and the new Future Cities update can be downloaded via the App Store for iOS and Google Play for Android.
