Craig Duncan, studio head from Rare, came on stage to give a few details and introduce gameplay footage about the hotly anticipated pirate simulator, Sea of Thieves.
Sea of Thieves is an “emergent experience,” Duncan said. Players are in a world with other pirates, who can always pose a threat. The game, long confirmed to be a Microsoft exclusive, looks like a total blast to play with friends. after talking for a brief minute, Duncan introduced the first gameplay footage for Sea of Thieves.
In the gameplay, players are seen exploring their ships, doing some heavy drinking, and engaging in combat with other pirates. I can’t wait to get my hands on it.
