Bethesda E3 Press Conference Live

Bethesda’s E3 Press Conference carries the E3 torch.  Come watch!

What bomb will Bethesda drop this year, in its second E3 press conference?  We’re a year past Bethesda’s excellent first showing, which unveiled the likes of Doom’s reboot and Fallout 4.  This year, we’ll surely see Dishonored 2, and we can’t wait to find out what else.  Join us in being surprised, whether pleasantly or not!

7:00PM Still sitting on that Pre-show.  Get hype!

7:06PM Maintain that hype.  What was the start time supposed to be, again?

7:17PM “Showcase is about to start!”


7:19PM Quake Champions.

7:20PM Cinematic trailer was pretty cool, suggesting some of the weapons.  Will we see gameplay?

7:21PM “…for PC.”

7:22PM A diverse cast with different abilities, and the promise of design for world-class esports support.  Bethesda will support tournaments and leagues at launch.  id promises more to come at Quakecon.

7:25PM We’re getting a recap for how last year went for Bethesda.  ESO did well, Fallout Shelter did well, Fallout 4 did well, and the new Doom came out (have you played it?  It’s awesome).

7:26PM Elder Scrolls Legends cinematic trailer.

7:28PM For those who might not remember, Legends is a Strategy Card Game in closed beta.  Sign up at Bethesda’s site.  Legends will come to iPhone, Android tablets and phones, Mac, etc.

7:30PM Fallout 4 is seeing more addons, including more contraptions(next week) and the ability to build your own vault (June).  And August invites you to book your wateland vacation to Nuka Land.

7:32PM Fallout Shelter is coming to PC, and both versions are seeing updates.

7:32PM “Yes, we’ve been working on it.”  Skyrim Remastered.

7:33PM “Special Edition.”  Mods coming to console!

7:35PM A new game built from the makers of Dishonored, the Austin team. Set in 2032.

7:37PM Prey is back!

7:38PM More to come at Quakecon- coming out next year for Xbox One, PS4, and PC.

7:39PM New snapmap updates, new modes, new maps, and more coming to Doom.

7:41PM Play the first Doom level for free this week on Steam, Xbox One, and PS4.

7:42PM The Eldger Scrolls Online, one year anniversary for consoles.  Zenimax Online gives thanks for fans’ enthusiasm and support.  Seven million engaged players.

7:44PM June 23rd, ESO launches in Japan.

7:45PM Dark Brotherhood DLC launch trailer.

7:48PM “One Tamriel” levels players to content, removing level restrictions; no more restrictions on content.  You can go whereover and with whomever you want as soon as you finish the tutorial.  Coming this fall.

7:50PM More info on all the games to come tonight in the post-show.  If you’re present, you can enjoy food, drink, and Blink 182, and a chance to explore Bethesda VR.

7:50PM Doom and Fallout 4 on VR.  FO4 comes out on HTC Vive in 2017.

7:52PM Dishonored 2 coming up.  Here it is, ladies and gentlemen.  Dishonored 2 will “live up to its celebrated legacy, and then go way beyond.”

7:54PM Game looks beautiful, built on in-house “Void Engine.”

8:01PM Actual gameplay being shown.  Lighting is fabulous.

8:04PM Windpower seems to replace whale oil, though whale oil tanks are still present.  Dynamic dust storm blows in randomly to affect player and AI visibility.

8:10PM Dishonored 2 hits PS4, Xbox One, and PC on November 11, 2016.  Next, Dishonored 2 gameplay trailer.

8:14PM The Dishonored 2 CE will come with Emily’s ring and Corvo’s mask.  Pre-purchase or pre-order and you’ll get Dishonored Definitive Edition for free.
