PlatinumGames’ take on the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is loaded up with lots of action, and one big Krang.
Available starting today for the Xbox One, PS4, and PC, TMNT: Mutants in Manhattan is loaded up with everything that you’d expect to get from the license, and one of the best pure-action developers in the biz today. And of course, more Turtles-characters than you can shake a katana at like “Shredder, General Krang, Karai, Bebop, Rocksteady, Armaggon, Wingnut and Slash”.
A team-based game at it’s heart, you can play up to four players (with each controlling one of the mean, green, teens) or solo and play with three CPU-controlled Turtles. And if you are playing by yourself, you can switch between different brothers on the fly, and even control all of their individual powers and upgrades.
As for the storyline, that should make TMNT fans very happy indeed, as it comes right from the mind of IDW Publishing author Tom Waltz, so it should be a good one. On top of all that, you’ll find both swarms of baddies to wreck and boss fights a-plenty to fight your way through, separate combat styles for each Turtle, and global leaderboards for some good old fashioned competition.
