LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens shines light on Poe

X-Wing pilot and one of the main stars of the new Star Wars trilogy, Poe Dameron takes center stage in this new LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens trailer.

With that now-familiar LEGO gameplay and style, The Force Awakens’ Poe Dameron is still pretty awesome as he appears in this new trailer for the latest Star Wars game. Of course, he’s but one of the characters that you’ll be able to control in LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

Following the events of last year’s film, this new game is a bit of a throwback in that it focuses on just the one film. Most of the recent LEGO titles have gone the opposite direction, covering several movies or complete series’. Not here though as this game focuses mainly on telling the story of The Force Awakens. Traveller’s Tails promises that that means all that you might think too, with all the movie’s storylines accounted for.

You might notice that I said “mainly” up in that previous paragraph though, and there is a reason for that. While you won’t find any content past The Force Awakens, you will find a bit of prolog. There’s no elaboration on it for now, but you will be able to play through a ‘New Adventures’ set of missions that takes place before the movie. So if you’re a huge Star Wars fan and you want to see a little more about the events that took place between the Republic and the New Order, then this might be just the ticket.

Hitting on June 28th, LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens will be playable on just about every platform out there, including the PS4, PS3, Vita, Xbox One, Xbox 360, Wii U, Nintendo 3DS, and PC via Steam.
