Things get statistical in the new dev diary for Warhammer 40k: Regicide

The team at Hammerfall Publishing takes you behind the scenes to get a look at the Statistical Mechanics of Regicide, their new game based in Games Workshop’s Warhammer 40K universe.

Regicide might be the most unique game I’ve ever seen based in 40K. Usually, we’re looking at something like an RTS, or a shooter of some kind, but Regicide looks like it plays out almost more like a game of chess than anything else. It also looks pretty cool in that way, since it’s definitely something that fans haven’t seen or experienced before in a game starring Space Marines.

Watch for more of these videos coming down the line too, as the game moves about the Early Access landscape on Steam (where it’s available now) and heads towards its eventual release. No date on that final launch date just yet by the way, but we’ll keep you posted.

About Jason Micciche

Jason's been knee deep in videogames since he was but a lad. Cutting his teeth on the pixely glory that was the Atari 2600, he's been hack'n'slashing and shoot'em'uping ever since. Mainly an FPS and action guy, Jason enjoys the occasional well crafted title from every genre.
