Two more classic MK fighters are making their way to NetherRealm’s upcoming Mortal Kombat X.
Ew. There’s a lot about MKX that’s somewhat changing the landscape for the series, like an even darker tone, even bloodier and more gruesome moves and fatalities, and some brand new fighters. With all that though, it’s nice to know that quite a few of the classic MK Kombatants are making the return trip.
We’ve seen a bunch already, but just in the last two days we’ve been reintroduced to Reptile here and Ermac, who made an appearance in a live stream with the NetherRealm team today. With his addition, that makes the roster (which is expected to end up being somewhere in the 20’s) to an already impressive level. And as we head into February, there are likely to be some fairly rapid fire reveals, since the game hits retail in April.
Probably the most exciting MK in a while (even taking the excellent MK9 into consideration), Mortal Kombat X is on the way for the Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
