King’s Quest returns with gorgeous new trailer

If you’re a fan of the classic adventure game, you’re going to like this.

One of Sierra’s biggest new titles that’ve been announced, King’s Quest from developer The Odd Gentlemen is looking sharp. The game is set to be not a continuation of the first classic titles in the franchise, but a stand-alone affair that plays off of those games and ties into them in some ways. So even if you’ve played the originals to death, you’re still going to want to play this one.

Personally, I’ve never been that big of a fan, but I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t intrigued by this new release. The graphics look phenomenal and the gameplay seems like there’s a lot more going on than in your traditional adventure game series. We’ll be watching this one closely in the months to come. Still a ways to go though, as the series  returns this Fall (2015) for the PS4, PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, and the PC.
