DST brings Plants vs Zombies Minimates and more to shelves this week

A plethora of cool stuff hit comic and specialty stores this past week from Diamond Select, including the first round of those awesome-looking Plants vs Zombies Minimates.

My picks of the week, and some of the coolest Minimates that the company has ever produced -bar none- are the PvZ ‘Mates, but they’re far from all that landed in stores this week from DST. Also very much worth noting are the silicone trays (perfect for ice or some chocolatey treats), cast in Batman ’66 and X-Men shapes, as well as the Sin City Minimates, and that absolutely boss Van Helsing figure from the company’s Universal Monsters line.

That series really never disappoints, and it’s only getting better with a triple-threat of the monster hunter Van Helsing, The Creature from the Black Lagoon (a personal favorite), and the super-cool (and stylish vest-wearing) Son of Frankenstein.
