Today has been a really busy day for Nintendo, we received a Japanese Nintendo Direct, Bayonetta’s released date, a midnight release of Super Smash Bros, and other goodies.
First off, Bayonetta 2 finally has a confirmed release date, it launches October 24, 2014. The first Bayonetta will be bundled with the retail version of the game. Next up, a Wii U deluxe set which includes Super Mario 3D World, and Nintendo Land will sold in Walmart mid-September, the price will be $299.99. NES Remix Pack, which is a combination of the first NES Remix and the second, will be slated for December 5th and priced at $29.99. You can buy both NES Remix 1 and 2 separately on the eshop for $14.99 if you so choose. Fantasy Life will be available October 24th, 2014. Features from Kirby Triple Deluxe are now available for download; DeDeDe’s Drum Dash and Kirby Fighters can be purchased separately, each priced at $6.99.
As most you know, Super Smash Brothers is planned for release on the Nintendo 3DS October 3rd and Wii U this holiday, but you might be unaware of the midnight release for the 3DS version. You can either download it, or check your local Gamestop for a possible event. Nintendo will likely hold some sort of tournament, just as they did for Super Smash Brothers Brawl. Be sure to leave a comment below and share your thoughts on the games scheduled for release. Is the wait too long or are you occupied enough for the time being?
