Ganondorf playable in Hyrule Warriors

Recently, Nintendo has announced that the king of evil himself, Ganondorf, is playable in Hyrule Warriors.

Ganondorf looks great in Hyrule Warriors, and the new features announced alongside him are pretty cool as well. Adventure Mode has several playable maps which resemble the The original Legend of Zelda levels on the NES. Each time you complete a challenge a new one is unlocked. Besides moving on to subsequent maps, completing the levels rewards you with some weapons that are only accessible in Adventure Mode; so be advised not to skip over it. Free DLC in the form of costumes for Ganondorf will be available for players who pre-order Hyrule Warriors within four weeks of its release date.

Some neat new weapons will make make an entrance, such as a chain chomp, a baton for Zelda and a magic rod for Link. There’s local co-op in Hyrule Warriors too, much like many other Musuo titles of the past; only this time one of the players can use the Wii U gamepad to control their character while playing. You can look forward to all kinds of familiar material from the Zelda series, such as hook shots, bombs, arrows and more. Hyrule Warriors will be launching September 26th, 2014.
