SDCC 2014: Heihachi has few friends in new Tekken 7 trailer

Yeah, series villain Heihachi doesn’t have a whole lot of friends, and Tekken 7 just might be his last hurrah.

Yeah not a lot of love going on there… except of course from the woman he murdered. Yep. And to be fair, Heihachi pretty much ruins the life of everyone he comes into contact with and is a general all-around jerk. It’s about time someone, at the very least, gives him a stern talking to.

As for details on the actual game, well, there really are none yet. Game Director and Chief Producer Katsuhiro Harada shared a bit at the SDCC panel for the game this week, but there are still loads of unanswered questions for what’s sure to be one of the biggest fighting games for the new generation of consoles.

Although Bandai Namco is being particularly close mouthed about Tekken 7 as of right now, they’ve promised that there’s lots more to come in the near future, so stay tuned fight fans.

About Jason

Jason's been knee deep in videogames since he was but a lad. Cutting his teeth on the pixely glory that was the Atari 2600, he's been hack'n'slashing and shoot'em'uping ever since. Mainly an FPS and action guy, Jason enjoys the occasional well crafted title from every genre.

  2. You’re not kidding it does. I’m hoping that’s just a bad dub for now, but if I remember correctly the series doesn’t have the best track record in the vocal department.
