HESAW interactive’s motion controlled, on-rails shooter arrives on the PlayStation 4.
Formerly an exclusive title for the PC motion controller Leap, Blue Estate makes its console debut on Sony’s newest console and uses the DualShock 4 to full effect. Basically, imagine an arcade light-gun game, but without the light-gun and you have a good idea of what Blue Estate plays like.
Being that there hasn’t really been a light-gun game of any kind (well, not specifically anyway) for a good long time in console land, this is a pretty rare opportunity for fans of the genre to dig in- and it certainly seems like it’s not a bad game all around either.
The graphics look pretty dang sharp in Blue Estate and the plot, with a very healthy dose of comedy with its pulpy comic/movie feel, seems like it might be a good time. After all, how could you not like a game where one of the gameplay mechanics is brushing your hair out of your face?
Blue Estate is available right now in the US and tomorrow in the UK for the PS4, with a special 20% off the asking price for the intro period.
