Wage war through the second Punic War in Sega’s ancient Roman RTS, and get a whole bunch of new upgrades for Total War: Rome II with the Seasons & Wonders update.
Hannibal at the Gates is a straight-up expansion for Total War: Rome II. The pack brings the game into the second Punic Wars of the Western Mediterranean giving players command of either the Roman republic or Carthage trading empire.
Free for download as an update, Seasons & Wonders adds in a whole bunch of new upgrades for the core game. Tops is a unit expansion for Carthage, but you’ll also find Twitch streaming, new ‘wonders’ for the battlefield, touch-screen support, and the actual changing of seasons all built into this one.
That’s the stuff that you’ll notice right off the bat, but there are also a mess of other upgrades including “new technical, AI and gameplay improvements” in the download. Both downloads are available right now, with Hannibal at the Gates costing you $14.99 USD to add onto your copy of Total War: Rome II.
