SOMA looks creepier and creepier every time we see it in action. Check out the new trailer after the break.
I’m still not even sure what SOMA is really about and it’s already got me spooked. From all the weird cybernetic insanity to this creep-tastic new trailer, it looks like one of those games that’ll be around for a good long time, spooking new players long after its release. Actually, if it’s anything like Frictional Games’ other releases Penumbra and Amnesia, that’s exactly what it’ll do.
What you see here in the new trailer is early on in the game and Frictional is calling it ‘Theta’… whatever that might mean. They’re also saying that SOMA “is a journey into the dark recesses hidden between sanity and the incomprehensible”, which sounds suitably disturbing.
Still a ways off, SOMA is due to hit the PC and PS4 some time in 2015. So you’ve got plenty of time to stock up on Depends.
