CastleStorm sieging PS3 and Vita soon

Zen Studios’ castle-smashing Xbox Live title comes to the PSN next month.

CastleStorm is a super genre mashup of 2D physics destruction mashed with tower defense brawler! CastleStorm was born out of the fond childhood memory of building and destroy Lego castles, and currently available on Xbox LIVE® Arcade and Steam for $9.99.

We had a great time with CastleStorm when we reviewed it on the Xbox 360– but then, with a description that includes playing with and then subsequently destroying LEGO castles, who wouldn’t? Like pretty much everything else that Zen makes (Star Wars Pinball anyone?), CastleStorm is a high-quality title too. Unlike everything else they’ve put out, it mashes up the tower defense and physics-destruction play genres (with a little bit of action thrown in for good measure) with great success.

Look for it on the Vita and the PS3, by way of the PSN, on November 5th.
